Meet the maker

Meet the maker

Hi friends!

My name is Ariana Altamirano, I am from Valley Springs, California. I am married and have two sons, Niko and Matias. My husband and our sons are my entire life, and everything I do, I do for them. A day in my life is waking up to my early rising baby, doing all of the mom & wife things and running my business from home.

Prior to becoming a candle maker, I was a police officer for a local agency. I was a police officer for 6 years before resigning to be a stay at home mom. Being a police officer was the greatest time of my life. I did my job wholeheartedly and I love my blue family, forever. Once our first son was born, we had to seriously consider some changes in my career. It was mentally draining to know that I was risking my life going to work, the thought of risking so much just didn't seem fair for our son. I worked long hours, and we knew I would miss out on so much of his growing up. It was a decision that we put a lot of consideration into and it’s needless to say that making a life changing decision like that weighed heavy on us. At the same time, it was a no brainer. Knowing we had the ability for me to resign and stay home was a blessing and we had the answer in our hands. My husband pushed me and supported me 1000% to resign, stay at home, and grow my candle business. He has been my rock through everything, and because of the team we are, everything has always been okay. Every scary jump wasn't so scary after all.

Thank God for my husband who works so hard which allows me to stay home. But let me tell you, being a stay at home mom is a job in itself, and no its not a years long vacation! IT'S HARD, but so rewarding. Motherhood has taught me so much about myself, things I am good at, as well as aspects of my life that need attention and improvement. It is a long journey, the days are long but the weeks and the months go by in the blink of an eye. Being a mother has been my favorite identity by far!

Candle making has allowed me to have a creative outlet, as most moms would agree, it is absolutely necessary! I enjoy every single part of the process. I love meeting all of you, I love LOVE talking to you and hearing about your experiences with my products. I am passionate about expanding my knowledge on home fragrance, if you know me you know how much I love this. Like every other role I have had in life, I pour my heart into this through and through. I can't say enough how grateful I am for you. Every purchase, every like, every comment, every story reaction, every share, every review, it means the world to me. Every single of one of you are a portion of making my dream come true. One day I will have my own storefront and it will be absolutely amazing!

Thanks for stopping by, sending you hugs.
